Welcome to Our Journey

We've traveled as a couple for nearly 20 years, with our individual journeys stretching back to the late '90s—when Rage Against The Machine and Bob Marley inspired our teenage selves to start "Escaping Babylon." Our shared curiosity and love for life continue to drive us, and today we share this passion for understanding Earth’s Wisdom with our four children. Together, we seek growth by learning from Earth's systems, patterns, and rhythms.

As entrepreneurs, we have found that going far into the landscape and deep into the cultures of place provides us with experiences far more insightful than anything else. Keeping always in a place of learning at the edge of discomfort and extreme gratification, we have managed to translate our findings into our businesses. In 2020 we founded Dear Wise Earth, with the purpose of fueling the emergence of Earth-Centered Organizations. From Dear Wise Earth, we have spun businesses, platforms, and initiatives with different levels of success. Just like in nature, some systems we've created have evolved, others have perished. All adding to the books of lessons. We dare to say that after over 20 years of exposure to change and diversity, we are becoming better at identifying those systems that work. Thanks to the frameworks we've developed with our humbling team at Dear Wise Earth, and thanks to the talented systems engineers behind our latest start-up Ecosystemas.org, we can implement much of what we explore at Escape Babylon into practical, value-giving services to others.
